Original 1st printing, 11&3/4 x 19" poster S. Paul (Sammy) Gee, a modernist jeweler who lived and worked in Berkley, and then in San Francisco, CA during the 1950s and 60s.
According to Randy Tuten: "S.Paul Gee was a famous North Beach Jeweler. I designed this using a Alfonse Mucha girl holding a piece of his Jewelry, it’s the same girl Stanley Mouse used on an Avalon Ballroom Poster. with some of my lettering. S.Paul Gee liked it so much he used it as business cards as well.”Art by Randy Tuten. Poster is on yellow stock.The poster is in nice vintage condition. There is a small corner bend, some age spotting, toning, and small surface nicks. Otherwise fine. Very scarce Tuten poster.
