Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" photo archive book by Bob Fitch.

According to the Stanford University Bob Fitch Photo Archive:

"As part of a Glide Memorial Church project to document the hippie phenomenon of San Francisco in the late 1960s, Bob Fitch began photographing in San Francisco's Haight Ashbury district. He also shot in Golden Gate Park and the Fillmore Auditorium, as well as in Berkeley. Many images from this assignment were used in the Glide book Hippie is Necessary. Also included in this gallery are photographs from Huckleberry House, a safe house for runaway minors started by United Church of Christ minister Larry Beggs in June 1967."

The book is in very good condition.  There is some sticker resudue on the front, and lighthandling wear on the covers, otherwise really nice.  All the pages inside are mint/nm .
